The annual holiday greets and update!
Yes it is that time of the year again when we clear off the old to make way for the new. 2009 brought some important moments in romley’s history. Bad Friday our little self produced project made a few splashes, with some cool screenings and winning the best Avant-Garde short horror film (just between you and me, I think Tabloid Witch dug our film so much they decided to make up an award for it… alright, maybe not, but it would be cool if it were true; ) It still continues strong on its festival voyage with another 6 months of submissions left to go.
Some newer works are already being slated for this coming year with interesting collaborations we shall talk about later. And the long over due completion of yet another epic one minute film, “abstraction” starring yours truly in the leading role. Ok not so much an epic, as a “we have a couple minutes of film left on the reel, what should we shoot?” kind of film. And since we couldn’t come up with a better plan, the idealistic me stepped up to the plate and delivered a top notch performance, not to be missed!!
Of course we are not only about the short films and concerts here at romleyfilm, we run the full gamut of Pre- production, production and post; with both Rory and I proficient in video editing and camera operations. If you have a project in mind, no matter how big or small, give us a shout and we will see what we can do for you!
